The one day of the year that we are all Irish, whether we actually are or not, is coming up! St. Patrick’s Day is a super festive holiday which makes it fun to dress the part – and if you don’t then you’ll get pinched! I’m sure you’ll see some people dressed head-to-toe, and maybe even wearing green lipstick, while others will be very subtle with their green accessories. If you fall somewhere in between then this list is for you!
The warm green
Let’s be real – the transition from winter to spring can sometimes be unpredictable. One day it’s warm and the next, well… who knows! This St. Patrick’s Day, focus on being practical. A green sweater, hoodies or long sleeve shirt can go a long way! It’s easy to still wear any of those items and still be appropriate for work or other day-to-day activities.
Finding a shade that works
Luckily green has become a very common color so it’s safe to assume you might already have something in your closet for the occasion! Find a shade that works for you and use this to your advantage! This can be a dress, top, pants – you name it. Anything in the green family works, and if everyone is going to wear the same color, you might as well try to look good doing it!
Put a little green on it
It’s okay to be subtle! Doing something simple like adding a green scarf or a green headband to your outfit is a great way to be festive, without being over the top!
